(proverbio africano)

English Version.

Everything that has left an indelible sign in the human mind was born by the chaos.

A decomposed jigsaw. A microcosm able to melting colour and unmaking shapes of a perfect picture from which everyone strive to extrapolate perfection without achieve it.

Chaos means unsettle planned plans. It is the hiding sense of any ostensible coincidence that make you change your way.

Everything change even if 'apparently' your life seems the same one. It is just this to upside down your old world.

Chaos overcome you. Nobody can escape to the change.

All I learn from this boiling hot summer is that nothing rules human life as the chaos.

The will has got no power. The confidence faces the facts. Whoever says the contrary has never proved the asymmetry beauty inside the chaos.

Everything is changing and in my face there is a smile.

You can wake up very early in the morning, but destiny woke up 30 minutes before you did.

Grinch for Xmas

Caro Babbo Natale, Dear Santa Claus,

Despite I didn't get the expensive presents for myself last year, I have to admit that the request for my ex boss was delivered save and sound.

Moreover, I know that you gave him more than I asked you: not one precious box of "sheet of artist" but tons of this product. Certainly when he received the special present in his ex posh house, he didn't appreciate it but I don't care, because in the Xmas time what is important is the thought.

Now it is the time for my request. I am aware about the current financial downturn and I know you get a second job in lots of malls where you let fat and snotty nosed kids to sit on your laps. This was my preamble to assure you that in my list there are no expensive stuff but I hope that what I'm going to ask you will have the same outcome of last year.

This year I don't want nothing for me, all my desires are addressed to my dear friends, at the end of the day Xmas means donating to others...

Ecco la mia lista:
There we go my list:

This one could be perfect for Miss E. She always dreams to have smooth hair as silk, why we don't please her?

Green could suit perfectly my dear friend C. She is so into fashion and with this dress she could have an outfit really original, and maybe she will say it is something made exclusive for her.

This is a very significative present and I ask you to deliver it to G. I believe the animal on the ring reflects what he really is.

A Natale ogni regalo vale.

Well, for Xmas everything MUST BE ACCEPTED. The last thing: please stop saying I am a bad girl otherwise I start to believe it and brag about my wickedness.

Primavera Londinese - London's Spring

English Version

Spring is came and shy rays of sunlight have covered Regent Park in a colourful carnival full of fragrances. Soft breath of wind stirs branches at dusk and almond and cherry trees's essences are all over in the air. You cannot miss this experience, your look is going to be lost in the infinite labyrinths inside the park. London, with its noise sounds, the crowded streets are far away from the view, when you walk the park's narrow street they seems dim memories. Imposing statues, semi-circular arches and so many flowerbeds composed by a perfect choreography of any shape and colour flowers embody the magnificent scenario of a city that after have emptied the sky of rain and snow is able to caress with spring's harmony. London is not a generous city: it doesn't give so many sunny days, it doesn't sell off the view of blossomed flowers for long time, but for these reasons London's spring and Regent Park become "rare pearls" of a new beginning.

La cruda Verita' - The raw truth

English Version

This is the other side of love, the dark and turbid part that everyone try to hide since it would sink into dreams' oblivion. Is the raw truth that breaks the wall of illusion and it forces to look at the reality with opaque colours of a vanished sunset in black and white tones. There are no street of escape from pain when he beats the door and says "it's the end". Every things started long time ago, F. was a girl in love with A. Since the beginning I realised straight away that they were an unlikely couple: she was so ambitious and well educated while he was a boy without concrete perspectives and almost illiterate. It was an on-off relationship for so many years. A time spent between big storms of misunderstanding and little sunlight of unstable reconciliations. Even a son has not fixed the enormous gap between them, and something broke up forever. Now F. is alone, she wants back her dream life, she has a strong desire to delete every things and start again but in the street that she will walk she is going to meet A. and his new girlfriend. F. won't be able to do anything else but turn her look elsewhere, keeps her pain in her stomach and walk over.

This post is dedicated to my dearest friend F., to let her know she is in my thoughts and I wish her to get off to her nightmares because the best thing in life is when you see sun after walking a long and dark tunnel. Tears will stop falling into your face and a little arch will draw in your mouth. I am sure, one day you will wake up and you will be again yourself .

Dream Love

Soundtrack of Love

English Version

Few people catch my attention. They are person whom are able to overturn rules following instinct's inaccessible path. If you are just wondering who has aroused such interest up to me to devote a space in my little kingdom, well I will grant your curiosity. I am writing about Adam and Aiko. They come from different worlds, so far one from another, and with only a look, it has changed the rules of their "games". A look that not only made them falling in love with each other, but also build a common intents in which only Love can be the main character. Nobody can predict that Japan and USA, and viceversa, can be so close. But for them is not only physical proximity, much more than daily routine, it's what I call " Affinity Selection" that unite their destinies. Aiko wants to be a doctor and she wished to restart university in Japan. As soon Adam was aware to his girlfriend desires, he opened his big brown eyes and he asked to himself: Would I be the same without Aiko? The answer was NO. He decided to follow her, to move in a foreign land, to face big cultural obstacles and to learn a new language, but every efforts will be compensated by the fact that he will have "his Aiko" in his arms . Believe me, she is worthy!. Her beauty is only the surface of an amazing personality and the sweetness of her eyes when she looks at Adam is one reason of their big Love. Maybe he is not so good with vacuum cleaner and sometimes he forgets to buy milk, but Aiko should be the same without Adam? The answer is No. Maybe she spends hours in the bathroom doing her make up and changing her hair-style but Adam couldn't loose her. Adam without Aiko would be a river that never will reach the sea; Aiko without Adam would be a garden without flowers but thorns. They would lost their deep essences and this couldn't be possible. If someone is wondering what is Love, well just look at them, they not only celebrate the meaning of Love, they embody it.

Italians in London

English Version

You recognise italians in London if:

1 On the escalator they are to the left side, so if you are in hurry up it's impossible to go beyond.
2 If you are queuing in a very long line, they go to the beginning with a cheeky attitude saying :" I was here hours ago, I went just for a second to drink my coffee. In that way, they pretend to escape the queue.
3 They drink and eat breakfast on the bar's counter.
4 They don't match black suit with fuchsia and bordeaux stock.... Ever!
5 They don t vomit in every street corners when they are drunk. At least, some of they sing " Oh Sole mio.... is in Italy!" .... " Oh my sun is in Italy....."
6 Italian girls usually don't wear short skirt, t-shirt with deep V neck and summer sandal in the winter time, especially when thermometer signs - 10.
7 On the bus or into the tube, it's rare that they stand up in order to leave their seat for you. Moreover, they are not so gents when a lady needs to get off... on the contrary English boy almost every time say : "After you sweetheart".
8 When they sip an espresso made in a decent way, they go into ecstasies over it.
9 They usually are much more rude than English. It's true English are more polite... but they are kind of Polite and "fake".... on the other side Italian are impolite but more sincere than British one.
10 Finally, you can recognise Italians looking at the way they walk: half macho and half riders.

Erica B: Giovane Carina ed incazzata - Erica B: Young, pretty and pissed off

Risultati:

English Translation

This afternoon, at work, I was looking for a job - a job that wouldn't make me nored to tears every day. In an indeal world i'd find a job in the ehumanitarian field, in an international organisation, like the UN or the Red Cross. I went on the website of a very well-known international organisation and I saw a job offer for something i could potentially like a lot: a 1 year contract spending th efirst 6 months
on training courses on emercency response in developing countries and
the following 6 in a country you have been assigned to apply what you've learnt. This experience should give you enough credentials to get a job in a non governmental organisation. Slight problem: the first 6 months here in london are paid the cost of transport to and from work (I cycle, so approximately £0) and the cost of lunch during working days (sandwich, approximately £2.50): they'll go bankrupt! after some quick calculations (rent + bills if I move to a shack £400 plus/month, I could go and eat at a soup kitchen but let's say at leastanother £50 per week for food, and let's assume I don't need anything else - I won't ever go out, or shower or clean my house, as in 6 months without salary it's likely that my soap supplies will run out), I was saying after some quick calculations: i can't afford it.
Results:
1) I get really pissed off,
2) I email to Clelia asking her to write something about teh absurdity of the exploitation of workers by humanitarian organisations, and
3) Clelia offers me the opportunity to write an article about this on her blog and i hppily accept.

Brief story of my life (which i will use to justify the pissed off-ness I mentioned above, for not being able to find a paid job in international development) : 25 year old italian, I've been in London just over 2 years but havent lived in italy since i was about 18. I have a Masters in International Development from The London School of Economics and then I spent one year in peru, managing education, nutrition and health projects. I came back to london in october 2008 - in the midst of the financial crisis - to look for a job in an international organisation. It's a very competitive fiels, btu i was hoping that my masters, field experience (Peru plus experiences in Central America and Tanzania during university) and speaking 4 languages would help. Instead after a couple months i found a job as a researcehr with a government agency. a "great" job: permanent contract, relatively high profile, well paid: excellent compared to what i could find in italy. But it's not for me and i would like to go back to a social work, possibly international.
began looking for a job again and, in spite of the financial crisis and the high cost of living in london, there is still a fierce competition for unpaid internships with large and small organisations alike. aside from the paradox of humanitarian organisations hiring unpaid staff, i cant comprehend the number of recent graduates who can afford to accept these work contracts, as the majority of people don't live with their families and have to pay rent. NGOs ask for a minimum commitment of 3 days/week for 3 monts and offer to pay for transport and lunch. During my masters i worked 1 day/week for a small organisation, with a contract of this kind, but now i cant afford it. So should i give up on doing what i am interested in, what I am passionate about and what i studied because I can't afford to get unpaid experience I need to have access to the paid job market? and do these organisations ever wonder if their economic selection doesn't leave out some qualified and competent people

Vorrei vendere mia figlia come schiava, come prevede Esodo 21:7.

Time ago, a well known priest said that homosexuality is an abomination according to the Bible ( Leviticus 18;22). This decalartion was made by a popular catholic radio. A man took this seriously and wrote to the priest.

Dear priest, I am writing to thank you because you teach God's rules. I learnt a lot through your radio program, and I have tried to share your knowledge with many people. Now when someone want to defend homosexual's life style, I simply remind them that in the Bible is written that it is an abomination. End of the story. But, as a catholic I need some of your advices regarding others God's rules written in the Bible.

. I would like to sell my daughter as a slave, as written in the Bible , could you please suggest the best price?
. When I burn a bull in my garden, because Bible said that its smell pleased God, my blasphemous neighbours assert that bull burned smell is not good for them. Shall I hit them?
. I know I can have sexual intercourse with a woman only if she isn't in her period ( Levitic us15;19 -24) . The problem is: how can I know if she has or not menses? If I ask, some of them can get offended.
. Leviticus (25;44) said I can have slaves, both female or male, but they must come from foregin contries. So I am European, that means I can not own Amercian or African slaves ? Could you explain me better about this matter? I mean I cann't understand why I can not buy American slaves?
. One of my friend works on saturday. This is forbidden, according to the Old Testament ( Esod book). Is there any moral obligation for me to kill him?
. A friend of mine said that according to Leviticus ( 11;10) eating shellfish is an abomination... less that be homoxesual. Could you give me some more clue about this?
. Levitic (21:20) said that I can not see holy pictures if I my sight is not perfect. Do I have to admit that I wear glasses for reading or my sight must be 10/10 in order to admire sacred pics? Is there any escape of this fault?
. Lots of my friends get shaving hair. According to the holy Bible this is strictley forbidden. So I just wondering in which way I have to kill them?
. My uncle own a farm. He broke the Bible 's rule because he planted two different vegetables in the same truck farm. Also his wife, my aunt, usually wears a dress made by two different fabrics (cotton and acrylic). Moreover my uncle swears at God very often. It is necessary I call every people in the village in order to stone to death them? It would be easy to burn them when they sleep as Leviticus order to do for who has sex with relatives?

I am confident that you replay to all my questions. In this occasion I want to thank you to remind us that rules are ethernal and unchangable.

With my best regards

a person really Catholic.

La maschera - The mask

English Version

"Every men lie but if you give them a mask they will be sincere" Oscar Wilde

Mask is an ambiguous means, where truth loves hide itself in order to protect our essence and escape from reality.

Behind a mask we feel secure, we almost forget that every day we wear a different one of them and this is useful to interpret the reality.

Someone will put on them negative nuances since in the common opinion mask represents fiction and who wear them is a liar. Someone else describes masks as a real symbol of falsity and hipocrisy, the thruth that conceal the thin veil bewteen our skin and the mask allow everyone to express ourself valuing what different stages of life require.

Bihind a mask are hidden multiple personality and at the same time there is our identity which is set up day by day and interwise with our dreams.

Botticelli's Venus hasn't a big breast. For sure her size is not far away from  the smallest one, but her beauty will stay in the eyes of who looks at her like a meaning of indenible femminility.

She has what it can be defined "Ballon tits". This particular breast is not available in nature but it is well advertised in every prestigious surgery clinic. Also she has skinny legs and a wasp waisted obtained within  3 weeks of drinking water and taking laxatives. Her "perfect" body is going to last one season or two, then we'll lose any traces of her and she'll drown in a perpetual forgetfulness.

She got an irregular and angular face. Through the time this caratheristic has became her personal label. A woman out of pin up coors.  Thanks of her facial wrinkles gave strong feeling to audience. For that reason she won an Oscar. Anna Magnani, embodied a beauty of a real woman able to charm everybody with only her carismatic glaze.

On the other hand, Melanie Griffith reflects a classic beauty of our modern era. A perfect oval face, small nose and big lips. All you can see of her outward appearance was made by a surgeon, even better, more than ones. Not even her smile, slightly shown in the picture, succeeds in ruling her plasticized face. Melanie was famous for playing the main character of "Working girl" a popular movie, and also she is Antonio Banderas's wife. That's it! About her there is only a shadow of what she isn't anymore.

Moral of this story:
Eternal charming is priceless, for anything else there is surgery

Le solite brave ragazze - The good girls

English Version

They make indignant, they point their fingers, they judge without allowing any objections by whom is against their niggardly and obsolete ethic. I am writing about the good girls: well polite, always tidy and rigid in their upright speeches that look like lessons acquired mnemonically long time ago to which, however, it has been missed the logic underneath them. In their words a lack of charismatic conviction is clearly perceived, but on the other hand the strong pride to being in a closed elite it is strongly remarked. It's a shame that knowing them a little bit better and exploring their worlds make me believe that there is an enormous gap of incoherence in this girls. At the end of the day they are part of this modern era and they don't reject to break rules as long as nothing will come up, nothing must slip out in surface. Theirs way of life is not only hypocrisy but a strategy built to distinguish themselves from bad girls, those that, "impudently", don't hide impure thoughts and bad deeds. Good girls don't say bad things but this doesn't mean that they don't do them. Ute Ehrhardt writes: "Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere". Well, the "angelic" young lady don't want to be blocked in neither of the two options.

It dedicated to ML and A who inspired this post.

La vanità è uomo - Vanity is man

English Version

I want to open this post with a preamble: I have some friends who are gay and I have not prejudices on this matter. Now I can star my disquisition: men fashion tent to be gay.

Someone say that there is no more distinction between genders....maybe this is true, but come on... it would be nice to see a little bit more of testosterone on catwalks.

Wearing men as a primitive one it's not right, but once again see top with leopard path, suit made by lamè that are worst that corset used last century is defenely too much. Finally, transparent t-shirt with fur or organza... do we want to speak about this?... Let's do it!

I believe it would be right to have some fashion designers with more masculine attitude. Someone able to design men clothes which can describe a man less effeminate, I mean a man without lucid lip gloss and transparent polish; who is more worry to stand out because his "attributes" not because wants to show them with colourful lights that underline his "Swarosky's jowel".

PS. I want to point out that this is only a post, be a fashion reviewer is not my next goal.

Una fine conduce sempre ad un nuovo inizio - An End always lead to a new beginning

English translation is coming soon

Who takes sword, it dies of sword.Who doesn't pick it up, it dies in cross
.

I have always believed that determination must be the crucial point to begin to follow ambition. Time has taught me to select dreams and as Ugo Bernasconi said: "It's not important to have many ideas but trully live one of them". Living my idea has been as following a road with the slippery ground and full of obstacles, but I have also loved every single finished footstep even when on my face appeared tears that cut the skin as blades of a razor. I feel that everything will end very soon and my run towards to goal will stop by my arrival.

A shot of gun, the applause of who would never have dared to reach so much, a ray of the sun will illuminate my face, a smile of satisfaction and everything it will end swallowed by my ambition. It will remain my "conquest" in my endeless memories. Wounds will be healed since my curse has always been to survive to storms regenerating myself throwing in the wind every thoughts that upset me.

It's time to call the end, the curtain will close and it will appear closing credits with the names of my friends who loved and encouraged me. For whom crossed my path without any maining... well for those people there will be nothing but an empty space because they were like unusefull sand in a desert.

When the time will came I will make a bent on the stage, I will go in the backstage where inside there will be red rose and candles and I will meditate on what will be my next achivement. As always I will repeat to myself my motto: " When I 'd want become I want, when I will become I do, when every later on become now... my next dream will have come true.

Arriverderci Roma - Goodbye Rome

"I cannot change wind's direction but I can always modify my sails to reach my detsination" Jimmy Dean

Wind is changed. By now summer's arrived at the end. It's time of balances, considerations and reflections about what is happened and what will happen. The sun is becoming opaque, it seems to be ready to say me goodbye, wishing me with its feeble rays to keeping on its sunny day in my heart. "My" Rome is going to desappear from my sight submerged by London's fog. Tevere will be replaced by Thames. In the Caput Mundi (Capital of Word) I have found again my family, my friends and I have realized my dream to be a journalist for a local magazine. I will going on to collaborate with the Italian magazine from London, as a special corrispondent, I will go to pursue ahead in all what I belive with firmness and determination. However I cannot hide that all what which I am renouncing for ambition will have a very high cost. I will be not physically present in the life whom I love, I will renounce sleeping in my room made by cherry-tree wood, I will not smell mint and sage any more. Few days and I will be back in the City and slowly slowly it will charm me again. Nothing is definitive, nothing at all will prevent me to getting back every time memories will reknot in my thoughts. Goodbye Rome, you will remain motionless while I will fly from "you" to try to open "my drawer" and make out my dreams go out away.
