Il lavoro nobilita l'uomo ma quando c'e' da combattere per conservarlo le donne non si tirano indietro. Erano quasi 60 a sfidare il freddo glaciale di un gennaio mai cosi' gelido. Le operaie specializzate della ditta Osma, gruppo Golden Point, si sono accampate per 59 lunghi giorni sopra il tetto della fabbrica di Faenza a urlare il loro sdegno. Da mesi in cassa integrazione, con uno stipendio di 700 euro al mese chiedevano perche' una ditta cosi economicamente forte, forse una delle poche che non ha risentito della crisi dovesse licenziarle. La ragione sta nell'ingordigia che ha portato una delle maestranze italiane piu' famose al mondo a trasferirsi in Serbia, perche'? e' ovvio li' le operaie costano meno e sicuramente non chiedono soldi extra per gli straordinari. La loro storia sembrava dimenticata, persa tra le memorie di chi un lavoro ce l'ha e non e' costretto a far quadrare i conti di una casa con uno stipendio cosi' misero che tra qualche mese si annullera'. Lancio dal mio blog una iniziativa, gia' annunciata ieri nella trasmissione Rai per una notte da una ricercatrice precaria: Se la fabbrica si dovesse trasferire in Serbia non comprate piu' i prodotti Omsa- Golden Point! Boicottiamo chi lascera' senza lavoro tante famiglie. Di scrupoli i manager della Omsa ne hanno sicuramente pochi ma quando il Dio denaro comincia a voltargli le spalle ogni decisione si puo' rimettere in discussione.

Every jobs dignifies men, but if there are troubles to face, women take action. There were 60 workers (women) for Omsa-golden Point who have occupied the roof of their factory, in Italy, for 59 days, challenging the awful weather of January. Up to the roof they asked WHY... why a well known Italian factory that had a extraordinary profit, despite the current financial crisis, wants to get them fire? Why? The reason is simply, Osma-goden point's managers want to move their business in Serbia, where workers ask for less wages and they probably don't pretend any extra money for working overtime. Now those women were living with 700 Euro per month, thanks to redundancy fund, but if their factory will move, as it appears, they are going to be unemployed. Their stories seemed to be forgotten by whom have a job and don't have financial problems, but thanks to Rai per una notte, a talk show against censorship in italy, their problem came to the light. I want to lunch an initiative and ask to you to NOT BUY any Omsa or Golden Point products. Managers have not scruples of conscience but if all of us will carry on this protest, maybe Omsa- Golden Point will remain in Italy and so those 6o workers and their families could have a future without asking food and clothes to charities.

Voglia di urlare - I want to shout

"La vita umana va difesa, innanzitutto dal delitto incommensurabile" dell'aborto. E questa difesa è uno dei valori "non negoziabili" in base al quale i cattolici devono votare nelle prossime regionali." Questo sostiene l'eminente Cardinal Bagnasco. Certo e' che il portavoce del Vaticano non puo' esimersi dal sottolineare con forza l'idea pro vita portata avanti dalla chiesa da millenni. La vita umana e' sacra, i bambini sono il futuro del mondo, nessuno si azzardi a toccare il feto, neanche la pillola del giorno dopo, nulla deve ostacolare il disegno divino di una nuova vita. Sembra lontana anni luce la tempesta che si e' abbattuta sul vaticano appena qualche settimana fa, quando le prime pagine dei giornali riportavano a caratteri cubitali dello scandalo che segnalava circa 350 casi di abusi nei confronti dei piccoli componenti del coro dei passerotti di Ratisbona, diretto dal fratello di Ratzinger. Allo scandalo la Santa Romana Chiesa ha risposto "La pedofilia e' una piaga che si annida ovunque". Una dichiarazione che si puo' definire tutto sommato blanda e soprattutto molto scoraggiante. La chiesa sa lottare per i suoi principi. Le campagne antiabortiste, per esempio, spinte fino al divieto dell'uso del preservativo poiche' "anticoncezionale contro la vita". Ci si chiede ora : perche' l'ago della bilancia che sostiene il feto non viene spostato anche per difendere il bambino che andando all'oratorio o a cantare per il coro parrocchiale viene violentato?. Forse il vaticano segue il vecchio adagio latino: IN DUBIS ABSTINE ossia nelle situazioni ambigue astieniti.

It seems far away the storm provoked by the spread of an embarrassing news reporting about 350 children abused when they were part of little sparrow's choir, directed by the bishop Ratzinger, the Pope's brother, but it was just few weeks ago. At the time Bagnasco said: "Pedophile is a course. It is everywhere" (not only inside our churches). A statement useless and discouraging. Roman church is absolutely able to fight for its ideas. If you think about every antiabortion campaigns, till forbidding even condoms as a contraceptive and so against life. We wonder now: why Vatican defends so hard foetus and "forgets" to put any emphasis of children raped and abused when they went in a church environment, as a choir? Maybe Vatican city's politic follows the Latin motto: IN DUBIS ABSTINE, that is “In case of doubt, abstain".

Il suo principio guida è stato: usare tutto come mezzo e se stessa come fine. Seguendo questa spietata logica di vita Miss X ha scavalcato tutte le concorrenti, tutte le sceme come me che stanno facendo la gavetta dura per essere giornalista, tutte coloro che lavorando duro per costruirsi un futuro. Ma infondo la vita è fatta di compromessi e le scorciatoie esistono, "sfortunatamente" io preferisco arrivare ai miei obiettivi, nei tempi dovuti. Guardardarmi allo specchio e vedere non una cortigiana ma una guerriera libera dal fetore nauseante del baratto sessuale è un lusso che mi concederò sempre.

ps. L'amante maturo e geneoso non è Berlusconi, anche se personamente la sua figura mi da il voltastomaco.

La pillola anticoncezionale è stata considerata la chiave di volta che ha «liberato» le donne da una concezione puritana, permettendo loro di esprimere a pieno la loro sessualità e controllare la loro fertilità. Il mito dell'anticoncezionale orale resiste, ma c'è chi oggi punta il dito sulla pillola accusandola di portare la specie umana ad una evoluzione innaturale.

La parola agli esperti

È la tesi di Alexandra Alvergne e Virpi Lummaa, due ricercatori dell'università di Sheffield in Inghilterra, che hanno appena pubblicato su Trends in Ecology and Evolution un'analisi degli studi più attendibili in tema di pillola contraccettiva e scelta dei partner. Il nocciolo della questione sono gli ormoni: una gran quantità di studi scientifici ha dimostrato che le preferenze di uomini e donne in fatto di partner variano a seconda delle fluttuazioni ormonali legate al ciclo femminile. Ad esempio, la donna nel periodo dell'ovulazione ha un debole per il «maschio-maschio»: l'uomo molto mascolino, competitivo, dominante e dalle caratteristiche genetiche più dissimili da se stessa (di questo ovviamente nessuna è consapevole, ma l'istinto guida infallibilmente verso la diversità genetica, che assicura un maggior successo riproduttivo). E pure gli uomini «fiutano» l'ovulazione femminile: se devono scegliere la più attraente fra un gruppo di donne, spesso indicano proprio quelle che sono nel loro periodo fertile. Con la pillola però le condizioni cambiano: il contraccettivo altera le fluttuazioni ormonali e mantiene la donna in uno stato di equilibrio abbastanza simile a quello della gravidanza. Alvergne e Lummaa ipotizzano che questo possa modificare in maniera significativa le preferenze in fatto di uomini, influenzando per giunta la capacità femminile di attrarre i maschi e competere con le altre donne per accaparrarseli. «C'è di più: chi usa la pillola sembra essere meno attratta da uomini geneticamente dissimili e ciò può avere un effetto nella capacità di riprodursi della coppia che eventualmente si formerà – osservano i due ricercatori –. Se davvero è così, l'uso della pillola potrà avere conseguenze considerevoli sulle prossime generazioni». I due esperti sottolineano, ad esempio, che accoppiarsi con uomini che altrimenti istintivamente non guarderemmo perché geneticamente simili a noi potrebbe portare a una riduzione della diversità della specie.

L'altra faccia della medaglia

Tutto sembra ridotto alla chimica del corpo e ai messaggi primitivi dell'attrazione. Dunque secondo la ricerca prendere la pillola salva da gravidanze indesiderate ma allo stesso tempo "respinge" gli uomini "giusti". Un'altro studio condotto nel Regno Unito, ha avvalorato questa tesi in chiave psicologica. Gli scenziati hanno infatti sostenuto che la maggioranza delle donne si dice convinta che un compagno con tratti femminili possa essere il fidanzato ideale, più serio e con meno tendenza all’infedeltà. Ci si chiede ora : ma dove andranno a finire i famigerati maschi latini? Ai posteri l'ardua sentenza.

Alexandra Alvergne and Virpi Lummaa, two researchers of Sheffield University in England, have just published on Trends in Ecology and Evolution an analysis of the most reliable studies focus on contraceptive pill theme releted to patners choice. The relevant matter of this investigation are hormones: they have shown that sexual preferences amend according to hormonal fluctuations which are strongly tied up to female cycle. It has been demonstrated that woman in the period of ovulation has "a weak" for "male-male": the very masculine man, competitive and dominant. In other words they tent to choose patners with very dissimilar genetic characteristic. Obviously nobody is aware of this fact, but following the searches it seems our instinct infallibly drives us toward genetic difference, which assures a great reproductive success. Also men "feel" female's ovulation: if they need to choose the most attractive girls among a group, often they points out those who are in their fertile period. However conditions change when women are on the pill. Alvergne and Lummaa said: "Contraceptive alters hormonal fluctuations and maintains woman in a state of equilibrium similar to pregnancy condition". They believe that this can modify in meaningful way women preferences in fact of men, influencing female skills to attract males and to compete with other women. "Moreover, who takes contraceptive pill seems to be less genetically attracted by dissimilar men. This can have a remarkable effect in the ability to be reproduce of a couple that will eventually be formed" the two researchers reveal. The experts also underline that there is a possibility to pair off with men that instinctively women would not look otherwise, because genetically similar to them, it could decrease the difference between genders.

The other face of a coin

All seems to look at body's chemestry and primitive attraction. According to the research, be on the pill is useful to avoid undesiderable pregnancy but at the same time "reject" the right man in order to continue a safe evolution. Another search conducted in the United Kingdom confirms this thesis setting it in a psychological way. Reserchers have sustained that the majority of women is convinced that a companion with female lines can be an ideal fiancé: more serious and with less tendency to unfaithfulness. We wonder now: will be the end of macho's style? Maybe next generation will answer to that question.

Le ragioni sono state dibattute nel seminario del mio corso di "principi di giornalismo". Un mio compagno ha argomentato sostenendo: "la donna deve pe forza prendersi un giorno di permesso dal lavoro per partorire. Questo può costare milioni ad una compagnia finanziaria". Ad essere messo "sotto accusa" è il corpo femminile e la naturale aspirazione di diventare madre. In un mondo ancora "dominato" dagli uomini questo rappresenta il maggior ostacolo nel divenire una persona di successo nel proprio campo. Ogni essere umano ha delle ambizioni e fa di tutto per raggiungerle. Le donne che vogliono intraprendere quelle che ancora qualcuno chiama "professioni maschili" si trovano costrette a dover mettere in discussione la maternità. Ciò non è ovviamente contemplato per i colleghi ai quali la paternità regala solo gioia e non toglie nulla nell'ambito lavorativo. C'è bisogno di comprendere il fatto che ogni donna è speciale proprio perchè nel suo corpo si genera la vita e questo fatto non può essere usato contro di lei.

Nota per il lettore: Come giustamente ha commentato il mio collega la sua argomentazione era inserita in un contesto dove Anonimo aveva premesso di essere a favore delle donne che lavorano. Anonimo è un ragazzo di poco più di venti anni con una preparazione e spunti sempre molto intelligenti. Economic and social equality betweem women and men is still an utopy. So far prejudices about women in work place are persistent and consolidated in our culture. Statistic researches have shown that even if a woman candidate possesses more qualifications than man, employers will opt to get the job to him. Moreover, professions as the being doctor, engeneer or to be part of political parties gives the opportunity to the women to enter but cases are a small minority. During one of my lecture of "Issues of journalism " it has been debated reasons that could bring to this social unbalance among genders. One of mine classmate has premised to be absolutely for women that work but at the same time he exposed what it happens in the "real word". He said: " a woman owes obligatorily to take him at least a day off of job to be able to give birth. This can cost millioni to a financial company". Society put under accusation female body as a result of be a mother. In a world still dominated by men, motherhood still represents an obstacle to be a woman in career. Every human being has ambitions and put so efforts in order to reach their dreams. Women that want to undertake "masculine professions" are forced to put in discussion the choice to be parent. All of this is not true for men to whom paternity gives joy and remove abosultely nothing regarding working field. It must been understood that every woman is special because in her body generates life and this fact cannot be a boomerang against her.

Note for readers: Once again, the position of my classmate are for women in career. He only pointed out a sad and true reality about financial company.

Orgoglio Italiano tutto al femminile - Female Italian pride

Il podio più alto, sopra di loro la bandiera italiana, l'inno di Mameli che risuona nell'aria, è il momento della vittoria per Valentina Vezzali e Giulia Quintavalle. Due guerriere che non si sono arrese, due donne che hanno conquistato il sogno dell'oro.

Tris d'oro
La Vezzali era partita dall'Italia con il fardello psicologico di essere la favorita al gradino più alto. Tutti contavano su di lei la campionessa che non ha mai deluso nelle competizioni importanti. Un attimo di incertezza, la tentazione di non andare in pedana ma poi tutto è cambiato. Vince la sua battaglia per il terzo oro, prima di tutto sfidando se stessa e poi tirando fuori grinta e freddezza che la contaddistinguono. Giulia Quintavalle è la prima italiana ad aggiudicarsi l'oro olimpico nella disciplina del judo. Lei è sempre arrivata quinta nelle competizioni, dopo l'oro ha dichiarato scherzando: "Pensavo fosse un destino legato al mio cognome, ora chiamatemi Primavalle". Su di lei nessuno avrebbe scomesso nulla eppure questa ragazza ha stupito tutti e ce l'ha fatta. L'Italia ringrazia queste due moderne amazzoni che hanno inscritto il loro nome nella storia dello sport e dato un immagine del nostro paese come vincente. Italiane che sfidando il pregiudizio, hanno intrapreso sport maschili e sono emerse con la determinazione di chi riconosce come schivare gli ostacoli. Donne protagoniste guidate da istinto, tecnica e voglia di vincere. Emanuela Auderio, giornalista La Repubblica, raccomanda di non definirle "Piccole donne crescono" ma bensì "grandi donne si affermano", ed ha ragione. Dietro ogni donna c'è lo spirito di affermazione, la voglia di riscatto e il desiderio di eccellere. Alcune lo occultano altre lo fanno emergere e vincono a Pechino.

The tallest Olympic platform, tricolour Italian flag above their heads, the Mameli's hymn plays again in the air, it is the victory's moment for Valentina Vezzali (fencer) and Giulia Quintavalle ( judoka). Two warlike never surrended and at the end two women that gained the dream of gold medal.

Three times gold
Vezzali had departed from Italy with a strong psychological burden to be the favourite athlete to climb the tallest step of fencing platform. Italian counted on her because she never made disappointment during the most important competitions. An istant of uncertanty for her, the temptation not to parteciapate to this Olymipc game, but it was an istant and then all changed. First of all she challenged herself and with grim and athletic coldness she won her third gold olympic medal. Valentina has always aimed her foil toward "ambitious undertaking", it has being ambition that always changes her as a winner. Nam, her opponent, was reaching Valentina but to four seconds from the end of the competition she has given a rapid stab. She won, a liberating shout went out of her mount, it was the awareness to have complited a historical enterprise.

First Italian Female Champion on Tatami
Giulia Quintavalle is the first Italian Female Champion to gain a gold medal for judo in the history of Olympic game. Till now she always reached fifth position, after her victory she joked: "I thought was a desteny bound by my surname (translated in English is fifth valley). From now you can call me first valley". No one would have bet on her, yet this girl has astonished everybody and has achived the first position.


Valentina e Giulia represent passion for sport, will and wish not to surrender also when things seem to turn to worse. Homer, the ancient greek writer, used to say: "There is not victory more beautiful than the one obtained with your hands", and Vezzali and Quintavalle have dosed hands movements and coordinating them with legs always staring at their opponents.

Today Italy thanks this two modern amazon that had written their name of the sport history and gave a winning immage of my country. They are Italian women that challenged pregiudices, undertook male sport and are came out thanks determination of who reconizes how to avoid obstacles. Protagonists guided by istint, technique and wish to win. Emanuela Audiero, an Italian journalist, recommends to not define them " Little women are growin up" but "Big woman affirm themself", I belive this is true. Niente più tabù in spiaggia - No more taboos on the beach

Oggi i tabù sono così elastici che non si rompono più. Un tempo i "panni sporchi si lavavano in casa", le beghe familiari rimanevano intrappolate nelle quattro mura domestiche e le donne sfoggiavano in pubblico meravigliosi sorrisi plastici. I tempi sono decisamente cambiati, me ne sono resa conto osservando le donne in spiaggia, intente non solo a spalmare abbronzanti e leggere romanzi rosa ma anche a confidare i loro più intimi segreti ad una semisconosciuta o alla sconosciuta vicina di ombrellone. Da queste conversazioni emerge di tutto: crisi coniugali, tradimenti, bugie, fobie sul sesso, depressioni e pettegolezzi sui rispettivi compagni. Parlano della loro vita, senza remore, pudori o finte ipocrisie. A prima vista le "indagate" sembravano donne comuni quasi banali, ma una volta iniziata la socializzazione da spiaggia tolgono la maschera e rivelano la loro vera essenza. E' proprio vero, siamo nell'era dei realty show e le donne in spiaggia annoiate ed accaldate sono stufe dei soliti gossip, infondo mettersi a nudo non è poi così difficile quando si indossa solo un tanga.

No More taboos on the beach

Nowaday taboos are so elastic that are not broken anymore. Once dirty cloths were used to wash inside house, family quarrels remained into domestic boundaries and women showed off marvelous plastic smiles in pubblic place. Time is defenetly changed, I have realized it observing women on the beach, they are not only spreading tanning mostourize or reading novels but also they are busy to say their intimate secrets to unknown neighbors, always women. From these conversations goes out everithing: marriage crises, betrayals, lies, sex phobias, depressions and gossips on their boyfriends or husbands. They speak about their own life without any hesitations, modesties or false hipocrises. At a first sight the "investigates" seemed common women, almost banal, but after socializzation on the beach they remove any mask and reveal their true essence. We can not denie we are in the reality show's time and women on the beach are borred and weather in august is so hot so they do not want general gossip, at the end it is not so difficult get undress their soul and personality when they wear only tanga snd microscopic bikini.
